I am a Sophomore Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue University. There, I am currently conducting research at PURT, Purdue's state of the art indoor drone lab, under Dr. James Goppert with collaboration from the Airforce Research Labs. We are working towards creating a drone with the ability to deliver Narcan to overdose victims in emergency situations. 

We derived vehicle flight performance requirements modeling current EMS infrastructure and the impact of cooperatively deployed UAVs. These drones doubles the EMS coverage area of Indiana in a six minute window. With the ability to rapidly reach far distances, autonomously land, and provide medication and instructions to bystanders, a fleet of these UAVs provide EMS responses to areas where ambulances cannot reach quickly, improving the medical outcomes of overdose victims.
